About NU Result?

National University (NU) does not teach students directly. Instead, it affiliates over 2,000 colleges across Bangladesh — mostly outside Dhaka. Students who didn't get into public universities like BUET, DU, or CUET study at these affiliated colleges and sit exams under NU's central system. So when people say "NU Result," they mean the outcome of that centralized exam — which decides: Whether a student moves to the next year, Whether they get their degree certificate, What CGPA they'll show on job applications

NU Honours Result

The Honours Result is the outcome of the annual examination held for students enrolled in the 4-year Honours bachelor's degree program under National University. Since the degree runs year by year, there is a separate result for each year — 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Each result shows the student's GPA for that year, and the 4th Year result finalizes the overall CGPA of the entire degree. Without passing each year's result, the student cannot move forward to the next year.

NU Masters Result

The Masters degree under National University runs in two stages — Preliminary and Final — each with its own result. The Preliminary result determines whether a student qualifies to sit the Final year exam. The Final result is what actually awards the Masters degree certificate, and it is this result that counts for BCS exams, government jobs, and further study. Together, the two results complete the full postgraduate qualification under NU.

NU Admission Result

The NU Admission Result is the outcome of the Honours 1st Year admission process for students applying to NU-affiliated colleges. It is published as a merit list — not a single result, but a series of lists (1st Merit, 2nd Merit, and so on) released in stages. Each merit list shows which applicants have been selected for which subject and college based on their HSC GPA and, from the 2025–26 session onward, their MCQ admission test score. A student must appear on a merit list and complete the admission formalities within the deadline to secure their seat.

If you have no internet access at all, visit your college notice board where results are posted physically after publication.
